As a native of the Pitt County area, Jason grew up in Farmville. Farmville is a small suburb town, just minutes outside Greenville. He has always been interested in the real estate market and investing in properties. Jason started buying rental properties while still a student at East Carolina University. He enjoyed the whole aspect of looking at properties and negotiating the deal. Six years ago, Jason joined Remax Preferred Realty as a buyer specialist. Starting in this capacity taught him the art of listening to buyers' needs and negotiating the deal. He is a graduate of Howard Britton's Star Power Buyer University and a graduate of the Advanced Buyer University. Jason has also received the top selling buyer agent award with his company two times.
Outside of Real Estate, Jason is an avid horse rider and trainer. He managed and owned La Mirage Stables in Farmville for 18 years. During this time, Jason enjoyed working with children and adults and teaching them to ride and compete in show ring competition on the local, regional and national level. During this time, he earned over 25 world and grand national titles and over 100 regional titles. Many of his clients from the equestrian years have been real estate clients as well.
Jason earned biology and chemistry degrees from East Carolina University and graduated with honors being named in the top ten percent of all graduates nationwide. Being an active volunteer and past board member of the Pitt-Greenville Chamber of Commerce has been a great experience as well for him. During 2008 and 2009, Jason co-chaired the Pitt County Business Expo, which was a great success. Currently, he is on the Board of Directors for the Greenville-Pitt Association of Realtors.
During his spare time, Jason enjoys spending time with his parents and family, who still reside in Farmville. He feels family and great friends are one of the greatest gifts a person can ever have. Over the past three years, he has become very interested in boating. Even though he is not a great captain, Jason enjoys boating off our North Carolina coast. He looks forward to meeting you soon.

His time as a buyers agent helped prepare him to become a top listing agent in the market. Helping sellers prepare their homes for the market is Kevin's favorite part of his career. When Kevin isn't listing homes or working with buyers you might catch him doing a few of his favorite pastimes. He is an avid softball player and coaches several teams each year. You might also catch him at a poker table where he says he practices his master negotiating skills. His other hobbies include amateur film making and traveling. Kevin is happiest when he has a project or goal to work towards. He keeps busy and is not a homebody. He is active in many organizations including his local homeowners association as well as with his work with the local board of realtors, where he has served as a director in the past.
